The Greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven: The Little Children

The Greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven

The Little Children

We would like to thank Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Children for providing us the books to guide the children in learning the life of our Lord Jesus Christ. We would also like to thank all the parents who provided us the perfect opportunity to teach their children the way of Jesus.

We, God's People Church International Inc., are pleased to inform all that we are continuing to teach these children the teachings of Jesus. We hope that all of us will continue the teachings of Jesus wherever we are. May God bless us all.

Let us part you all with these wonderful messages from the Holy Book and hope that everyone will find hope in Jesus name. Amen.

The Greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven

18 At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Who, then, is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?”

He called a little child to him, and placed the child among them. And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me.

The Little Children and Jesus

13 People were bringing little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them, but the disciples rebuked them. 14 When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.15 Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.” 16 And he took the children in his arms, placed his hands on them and blessed them.

A song of ascents. Of Solomon.

Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain. In vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat— for he grants sleep to those he loves.

Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their opponents in court.
